Becoming and remaining an exceptional basketball player is possible when you apply the variety of tools and techniques taught exclusively at NineSports Basketball Club. We are pleased to offer our players a cutting-edge yoga conditioning program, specifically designed to fine-tune your balance, improve lung capacity, increase agility, reduce your chances of injury, and decrease trauma in the body after pounding the courts. Combined, these benefits can add years to your playing career.

In addition, you’ll learn focus exercises and relaxation techniques to ground you in a powerful mental zone during game time.  NSBC yoga conditioning is more specific than the typical “gym yoga” or “yoga for athletes” class.  Our unique systematic training incorporates poses, breathwork, and lesser-known practices to enhance and accelerate the benefits of yoga for serious athletes. These techniques fit seamlessly into a hectic travel schedule and can be applied throughout the season. By practicing NSBC Yoga, you’ll take your game to the next level—and keep it there.

Specific Basketball Warm-Up Stretching! 

Luke Ketterhagen graduated magna cum laude from Marquette University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. After receiving his yoga teacher training certification from the Himalayan Institute, Ketterhagen joined their full-time staff. He authored the "Asana Basics" column for Yoga International (now Yoga + Joyful Living) magazine from December 2003 to December 2004. Luke appeared as a model in numerous editions of the 16-year-old publication as well as in the best-selling book, Yoga: Mastering the Basics. Former owner and director of Uptown Yoga in Dallas, TX, Ketterhagen was Director of Programming and principal teacher at East West Yoga in Manhattan during its relaunch. Currently teaching in the Los Angeles area, Luke also conducts workshops throughout the U.S., teaching a variety of techniques to practitioners of all levels.
